Sunrise at Margerie Glacier, Alaska, Margerie Glacier is a more than 20 mile long tidewater glacier in Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska. We had hired a small boat to stay overnight in the bay. The picture shows what I witnessed at sunrise. I have seen only few places as peaceful like this one. This is a Velvia Fujichrome film slide, digitalized using a Nikon slide scanner.
